The article is about the ambitious plans Kanazoe is pursuing with Cimenterie de la Côte Ouest-Africaine (Cimco) in the Togolese market.

All three grinding plants of the Cim Metal Group mentioned in the article, Cimfaso and Cimasso in Burkina Faso and CimIvoire in Côte d’Ivoire, were planned, built and successfully commissioned by us. The fourth plant with a capacity of 2.5 million t/year is currently being built by us in Lomé/Togo. New coal dust dosing systems

In November 2019, Solnhofer Portland Cement awarded Intercem the contract for the engineering, planning and installation of 2 coal dust dosing systems. The existing plant was recorded by laser scan and, based on this, the dosing units, the steel structure, the platforms and the conveyor piping were planned. As in a similar preliminary order, the special requirements of the pulverized coal dosing systems regarding silo lining with stainless steel, the steel construction and the design of the pneumatic conveying piping were taken into account. The installation is coordinated in such a way that the various installation sections ensure continuous kiln operation. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2020.
